Digital Solutions are methods of printing from a digital-based image to a variety of media.
ALG digital print methods include UV inkjet, solvent inkjet, water based inkjet,
thermal transfer imprint and direct thermal imprint.
Digital Solutions are typically the best value for short and medium run jobs, quick turnaround, small or large format, prototypes and variable data. Our multiple digital print methods allow ALG
to print on a wide variety of substrates that are both rigid and flexible.
Digital Solutions provide products for most all applications including outdoor, UV environment, high heat, chemical exposure, high impact and many more.

ALG has many UL approved products that meet the highest standards of performance and durability.
Digital printed UL products are an excellent option due to exceptional resistance to moisture, corrosive chemicals and ultraviolet rays from the sun.
QUICK TURNAROUND
Digital Solutions offer the value added service of quick turnaround times as compared to traditional Flexographic and Screen Solutions.
PROTOTYPES
Our Digital printing offers our customers the unique opportunity for prototypes and small quantity sample runs at a low cost.
This allows our customers the ability to evaluate artwork changes, provide prototypes for new product launches, produce marketing samples, trade show products and more.
COST EFFICIENT
The Digital Print Division has 4 print methods for fast, cost efficient production of small to medium volume jobs.
Cost efficiencies are achieved in digital printing through reduced set-up times, eliminating the cost of plates and less labor required to operate the equipment.
DIGITAL SUBSTRATES
ALG digitally prints on both rigid and flexible substrates with a wide range of thicknesses and finishes.
OUTDOOR DURABLE
Materials, specifically designed to perform outdoors, are utilized in Digital Solutions. These materials include UV inhibitors and other durability in an outdoor environment.
To further extend the life of the decal, special lamination or topcoats can be added to provide even greater UV and abrasion resistance. Also, our digital inks utilize pigments made with excellent light-fastness and other additives to extend outdoor life. Lastly, our adhesives are specifically formulated to stick to tough surfaces and engineered to perform over a wide range of temperatures.
ALG has multiple DIGITAL SOLVENT InkJet presses for short to medium runs,
with the ability to print on vinyl substrates up to 60" wide.
This printing process is perfect for producing high-resolution logo decals, safety decals, informational and variable data decals, and offers excellent outdoor durability.
Digital UV InkJet printing is for short to medium runs, printing on flexible substrates such as vinyl and polyester up to 60" wide and compares to traditional screen print solutions.
This process is excellent for logo decals, informational and variable data decals
and offers excellent outdoor durability.
ALG's DIGITAL UV InkJet press line is for short to medium runs, printing on rigid substrates up to 60" wide and 2" thick that compares to traditional screen print solutions.
This process is used for production of aluminum nameplates, serial plates, product overlays and safety decals, all offering excellent outdoor durability.
WATER BASED INK JET
ALG utilizes this digital printing process for low quantity production, prototyping, variable data, marketing samples and indoor application. The primary base material is
a semi-gloss stock with a permanent adhesive.
ALG has multiple VINYL PLOTTERS that are fully automatic for low cost manufacturing of small and large production runs of ready-to-apply decals. These decals are kisscut to the liner, weeded and pre-masked for easy application to a wide
range of surfaces.
ALG has the capability of running THERMAL TRANSFER labels up to 6" wide on blank or preprinted flexographic materials such as paper, polyester, polypropylene and vinyl substrates.
Products can be produced with static information or variable data.
KISS CUTTING, FULL CUT
ALG offers a unique digital finishing solution for short run jobs, samples and prototypes that utilize optical registration for kiss and full cutting.
This digital solution requires no cutting dies and less labor. It provides tight tolerance cutting and cost efficient finishing of small quantity production runs.
ALG's digital finishing solutions offer the ability to rout on rigid substrates
like aluminum and multi-layer plastic, to create special sizes and shapes.
This process also provides tight tolerances with smooth edges.
ALG's Digital Finishing Solutions include ROUTING, which offers the ability to rout rigid substrates like aluminum and multi-layered plastic.
Digitally routed products offer tight tolerances, smooth edges and consistency for short run jobs. This process is excellent for serial plates, nameplates and placards.
