Supporting Durable Branding Across Multiple Trailer Brands
Managing branding across a large portfolio of trailer brands takes more than a one-size-fits-all solution. Within the ATW family of brands including Carry-On Trailer, Big Tex, PJ Trailers, RC, BWise, and others, labels and decals play an important role in both product identification and long-term brand visibility.
That is where ALG Labels + Graphics comes in.
As a durable label and decal supplier, ALG helps support ATW brands with products that are built to last in demanding outdoor environments while also helping the team move quickly on proofs, samples, and evolving brand needs.
Supporting a Multi-Brand Portfolio
Scott Sittler, Sr. Director Brand Marketing, ATW Trailer Division, oversees branding across multiple product lines and sub-brands. From his perspective, one of the biggest needs is straightforward. Labels must be recognizable, placed where customers can see them, and able to hold up overtime.
“The biggest thing for me is having a label that’s easy to recognize. It needs to be large enough and placed where customers can actually see it,” said Sittler. “And it has to hold up over time.”
For trailer manufacturers, durability is crucial. Labels are exposed to weather, wear, and repeated use in real-world conditions. Sittler noted that trailers often see heavy strap use, and decals need to withstand rubbing and outdoor exposure without losing their appearance too soon.
For brands like Big Tex Trailers, that long-term appearance is especially important. “It’s critical that those labels look good over time,” said Sittler.
Built for Real-World Performance
Throughout the conversation, durability stood out as a core theme. ATW needs labels that maintain their look over time, not just at the point of sale. That includes both brand decals and labels with functional elements like QR codes.
Sittler noted that some labels originally intended for retail display remain on trailers long after purchase because customers choose to leave them in place. “They’re designed for retail display on the trailer but many customers never remove them,” he said.
That reality creates an added need for labels that continue to perform well even beyond their intended temporary use. ALG helps meet those demands by providing durable label and decal solutions designed for outdoor use, ongoing exposure, and the realities of trailer ownership.
Fast Turnarounds and Reliable Support
Even from a higher-level brand management perspective, Sittler pointed to ALG’s responsiveness as a clear strength. “You turn around proofs quickly, get samples to us fast, and our team relies on that to keep projects moving.” he said.
That kind of support is especially valuable when working across multiple brands and launches at once. Whether a team is refining artwork, reviewing samples, or preparing for a new product introduction, speed and consistency help keep projects moving.
Problem Solving When Application Challenges Arise
ALG’s role as a trusted vendor also reflects the importance of solving practical production challenges, not just delivering printed material.
During the discussion, Wilson Pirtle, Sr. Sales Executive at ALG Labels + Graphics, pointed to a recent example involving a large label used in a PJ Trailers product launch. Because of the size of the decal, application created challenges during the initial run, and ALG worked through the issue by changing materials to improve performance in the plant.
“We actually switched materials after the initial run because of application issues and were able to help solve that challenge,” said Pirtle. “That’s part of our role, not just supplying the label, but helping make sure it performs the way it needs to in the real world.”
That kind of collaboration is valuable in durable labeling. Sometimes the right solution is not simply producing the original spec but adjusting materials and construction to better fit the product, the plant environment, and the end use.
Supporting New Product Launches
As ATW continues to introduce new trailers and refine brand presentation across its portfolio, ALG supports those efforts as part of the process. Recent activity has included new dump trailer models for Big Tex Trailers and PJ Trailers, along with additional product introductions across the portfolio.

A Trusted Vendor Focused on What Works
While day-to-day supplier relationships are managed across the ATW team, Sittler emphasized a consistent priority. Labels need to perform in the plant, look right on the trailer, and hold up over time.
“From my perspective, it comes down to having a label that works in the plant and continues to look good over time,” said Sittler.
For trailer brands balancing durability, branding, and operational needs, having a trusted vendor that can support all three makes a difference.
