JOB OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW

This is a full time position that supports multi-plant, custom manufacturing operations with a commitment to quality and exceeding customer expectations.

 

 

Division: Customer Service Professional

 

Reports To: Customer Service Manager

 

Summary: Ability to work in a team atmosphere, possessing strong communication skills while providing support and service to customer base. Will manage accounts, provide detailed service to include order placement, tracking on-site production, shipping needs and running point on any troubleshooting. The candidate is required to maintain and manage several key accounts in a fast-paced, light manufacturing environment.

 

This job is NOT working in a call center but working closely with key manufacturing buyers that require attention to detail and a wide range of customer service skills.

COMPENSATION

Compensation Range:   $15-$20 per hour based upon experience

BASE QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service, account management or sales

• Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Office products

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task

• Positive and professional attitude

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Quick response time

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

 

  • High school diploma, required
  • Additional college experience, a plus.

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Minimum 2 year experience in Customer Service, Account Management or Sales, required.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment, a plus.
  • Experience in custom order entry, a plus
  • Experience in using a CRM system, a plus

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED:

 

  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Extensive interaction with customers and production staff
  • Order entry for all production processes
  • Job Estimating
  • Attend to all details associated with production and delivery of products
  • Provide Account Management
  • Make it easy for customers to do business with you
  • Project positive and professional behavior/attitude in all areas associated with the production and delivery of ALG products to internal staff and external customers.
  • Follow administrative procedures established for inter/intra-departmental interaction
  • Additional tasks/duties/special projects may be assigned as necessary

 

SKILLS NEEDED

COMPUTER SKILLS:

 

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook and all Microsoft Office products, required
  • Exposure to CRM, a plus
